Gladney picked up the pace in June and had six placements, including a set of twins!
Three of their placements were in Texas, one in Ohio, and two in Pennsylvania.
About half of the families were at or above the average wait of two years at placement and the other half were quite a bit under their average wait, both because their children’s birth parents wanted something very specific in the family for their children.
They had two longer matches both above three months, but the other four were shorter at two weeks or under.
Currently, they are working with about 46 expectant moms at different stages of their adoption journey. Right now they are getting lots of inquiries from expectant parents who are due in August, so it looks like hopefully they will have a busy few months ahead of them!
Additionally, they are working with 93 active, unmatched families. We are 43rd on the list.
